In A World Like This

I have been their fan since their very first outing as a band. Even before their very first album was released when I was 14 and Nick was 13.

Been obsessing over Nick since then right up until he announced his engagement to longtime wonderful girlfriend Lauren Kitt.

Of course I am heartbroken that my fantasy of Nick falling for me will now never happen (lol as if it ever would!) but I am very happy for him for he deserve the love and happiness that Lauren gives him after the troubled life he had lead.

I know most of us would think that celebrities have the PERFECT life and live in an INFALIBLE world... but come on they are not deitys... they are humans and bound by the same laws and cosmic judgement just like any other being.

The only difference is their lifes are just so bright and shiny that many people get sidetracked and blinded by the fact that they have a world of hurt and pain to go through just like everyone else who had ever walked the earth.

Saying all that aside.. I am just so chuffed for Nick that he finally is in a place where he could be happy being who he is and living a healthy, addiction free life.

And on their latest single and album: BEST album and single to date.

I don't know why but I feel 'In a world like this is the BEST song they had ever recorded even beating down my all time favourites from Millenium, Black and Blue, Never Gone and the rest of their other multi-platinum selling albums....
